Training
Bardon Environmental stress to our clients the importance of a good quality trained competent workforce as a centre-piece of an effective asbestos management policy. In order to provide this service, we have established a dedicated asbestos training division.
The HSE have recently impressed on the need to provide good quality information, instruction and training to all personnel who may be a risk when working with asbestos containing materials. Every employer should ensure that appropriate training is given to those employees who are liable to be exposed to asbestos, or those who supervise such employees.
We can assess your training needs and provide you will a tailored course to ensure your staff are informed, instructed and trained in all appropriate skills and knowledge. This training should ensure that safe working methods on asbestos materials are undertaken and all such work is supervised correctly and minimises any potential exposure to asbestos fibre.
Courses can be held at your premises, Bardon Environmental’s own dedicated training suite or any other venue to suit your requirements. All training courses are delivered to ensure full compliance with the licensed contractors’ Guide and the HSE’s Asbestos Training Providers Code of Practice.
Bardon Environmental offers the following types of training courses:
- Asbestos training to licensed contractors
- Asbestos training for operatives who works with asbestos materials which do not require a license
- Basic asbestos awareness training
We also offer training to ensure compliance with statutory issues such as working at height and other health and safety topics.
